NYRA Preview: Aqueduct 12/13

Today’s eight race card has a variety of races that will bring a ton of excitement to race fans. There is only one maiden special weight (MSW) race today. In saying that, it does kick off the early Pick 5 in Race 1, and certainly will help everyone start their day off the right way.

Race 1 $60,000 MSW for New-York-bred fillies and mares 3-years-old and upward going 1 mile (8 furlongs) on the dirt

Mark Hennig brings #1 Freddymo Factor to the dirt for the first time after failing to win in his first three efforts on turf, dating back to last year. His most recent effort was the best of the bunch finishing third by five lengths. Mark Hennig is winning at 20% when his runners switch from turf to dirt in 2019. This positive along with Freddymo Factor’s sire, The Factor, was a multi-graded stakes winner on dirt in his time. Freddymo Factor has not had a problem breaking out of the gate well and I expect him to do that again today.
