The Somobombs: Parx Racing Picks for September 25th, 2021 with the Late Pick 4

We just missed out on the Late Pick 4 yesterday when we got nailed at the wire, but it was nice to get a 5-1 single home looking like a 1/9 and be live to 4 in the last returning over $300 each on a $30 ticket. Today I’m headed to Parx for their monster day of racing. We’ve got a 13 race card loaded with stakes action and a monster Pick 5 carryover. I’m playing a $0.50 and $5 ticket into that Pick 5 pool which will be the best bet of the day!

Race 10 – Gallant Bob Stakes

Let’s not overthink this one, #7 Jackie’s Warrior is an absolute stand out. I like beating favorites, but this isn’t the time.

Race 11 – Cotillion Stakes

With the scratch of Private Mission, it looks like #8 Always Carina will inherit an easy lead and could wire this field. I’m going to give #3 Will’s Secret one more chance as she should trip out in this spot and get first run into Always Carina. Let’s use the #1 Obligatory and #3 Army Wife here as well.

Race 12 – Pennsylvania Derby

#7 Hot Rod Charlie is a deserving favorite and has to make the ticket, but I do like a couple of prices as well. The morning line of 12-1 is a pipe dream on #3 Speaker’s Corner who looked amazing returning the to track last out. A step forward puts him right there. Pletcher brings in two and I like the bigger price on the outside, #10 Americanrevolution, who has been on the improve.

Race 13 – Alphabet Soup Handicap

If you go back to the turf routes, #5 Papal Law looks awfully tough in this spot and will be forwardly placed as well. #7 Wait For It is very dangerous if able to transfer the synth form over to the turf. Let’s close out the ticket with #1 You Must Chill and a longshot #9 Saint Marco.
