Free NBA Western Conference Playoff Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 4/17/22

There are four more first round games in the NBA playoffs on the schedule for Easter Sunday.. There will be three games in the Eastern conference and New Orleans-Phoenix in the West.

We broke even on our Best Bets yesterday as the Sixers covered the spread and defeated Toronto, but the T-Wolves stunned me with their big win over Memphis. That leaves our Best Bet of the Day record at 75-36 in 2022.

We went 3-1 betting the MoneyLine improving our overall record to 438-219 since Jan.1st.

Let’s check out the three games in the Eastern conference for today…

*PAPA DUDES BEST BET* #8 New Orleans at #1 Phoenix (-10.5): I actually think the Pelicans have a shot in this game. Sometimes, it is an advantage for a team that has already played a couple of playoff-type games against a team that has been idle for a week. That’s what we have in this matchup. The Pelicans had to beat the Spurs and the Clippers to get into the playoffs and they did just that. They are 11-6 in their last 17 games and they will come out firing. The bad news for New Orleans, is the quality of the opponent. Phoenix is the best team in the league and have plenty of playoff experience, having gone to the NBA Finals last year. With the guidance of Chris Paul and the great play of Devin Booker they should be ready for the challenge. Look for New Orleans to stay close for quite awhile, but falter down the stretch allowing the Suns to pull off a cover. PAPA DUDES BEST BET: Phoenix -10.5
