Free NBA Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for the Western Conference Playoffs 4/18/22

There are three more first round games in the NBA playoffs on the schedule for Monday. There will be two games in the Western conference and Toronto-Philadelphia in the East.

We cashed both of our Best Bets yesterday as the Heat blasted the Hawks and the Suns held on to cover the spread over pesky New Orleans. That leaves our Best Bet of the Day record at 77-36 in 2022.

We went 4-0 betting the MoneyLine improving our overall record to 442-219 since Jan.1st.

Let’s check out the two games in the Western Conference on tap for tonight..

Denver at Golden State (-7) Golden State leads the series 1-0: The Warriors took Game 1 of the series without much trouble, winning 123-107. There really isn’t much of a reason to think they won’t cruise again tonight. They are playing at a high level and after the 1st quarter they kept Denver from putting up much of a threat. The Nuggets didn’t shoot particularly well and they will probably shoot it better tonight, which is a must if they are to have a chance. Meanwhile, the Warriors received a 30-pt effort from Jordan Poole, who started in place of Steph Curry. Curry contributed 16 points off the bench as he is slowly coming back from an injury. The Warriors have the pieces in place to make a run at another title. I’m going with them again tonight. PAPA DUDES BEST BET: Golden State -7

Utah (-5.5) at Dallas Utah leads the series 1-0: The story of this series is the injury status of Dallas superstar Luka Doncic. He missed Game 1 and is questionable for tonight as well. The Mavericks held in there without him and had a legitimate chance to win, losing 99-93. The Jazz received excellent games from their two stars, Donovan Mitchell (32-pts.) and Brian Bogdanovic (26-pts), and deserve credit for the win. This is a game you probably want to stay away from because we won’t know the availability of Doncic until game time. I like Dallas to beat the spread and wouldn’t be shocked if they pull off a surprise, with or without Luka. PAPA DUDES PICK: Dallas +5.5
