The 9/5 second choice Miss Brazil went to the lead and set pressured fractions of :22.81 and :45.68 inside of Ova Charged and Red Ghost. Prat tipped Souper Sensational out in the far turn and sent her wide around rivals, putting the Mark Casse trainee in perfect position to sweep her way to the front once straightened for home. Galloping strongly away from the competition, Souper Sensational crossed 3 1/4 lengths much the best while completing the 6 1/2-furlong fast dirt sprint in 1:15.79. The Curlin filly, purchased for $725,000 as a yearling, has now earned $247,203 to go with a 7-3-1-1 record. Souper Sensational returned $13.80 to win, $6.80 to place, and $5.70 to show. Ova Charged brought back $7.30 to place and $6.30 to show. Inject paid $7.20 to show.
