( Content Continues Below Ad ) Headlining the event is #10 British Idiom, the Eclipse Award winner as 2 Year Old Champion Filly following a pair of Grade 1 scores in the Alcibiades Stakes and the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies. The Brad Cox trainee has made one start so far in 2020, finishing a distant second in the Rachel Alexandra Stakes (G2). #2 Venetian Harbor is likely to draw considerable interest at the betting windows. The 3-year-old daughter of Munnings is undefeated on the dirt, having won both starts over that surface (including the Las Virgenes Stakes [G2]) by a combined 20 lengths. Her regular jockey, Flavien Prat is traveling east from southern California to ride for trainer Richard Baltas. #4 Lake Avenue won the Demoiselle Stakes (G2) at Aqueduct by 4 lengths last December while traveling 1 1/8 miles, but she failed to duplicate that success in her two prior 2020 starts. The Bill Mott trainee enticed Hall of Fame rider John Velazquez to ship in from the east coast.
