It was nice to close out the weekend the a $1 Early Pick 5 after scratching into the favorite twice. Hopefully we can keep it rolling right into the new week. I’m kicking off Thursday from Keeneland and then we will have a mix of Keeneland, Belmont and Santa Anita for the rest of the weekend! Race 4 – $86k N1X – 5.5F Turf

Let’s start off with the #4 Love and Money who will get back to turf sprinting after facing two tough fields at Saratoga going 1M. Anything close to the maiden breaking score will make this one tough today. Next up is the #5 Mused who made the lead in the stretch at Kentucky Downs before losing to Amalfi Princess, the slight cut back should help today. Let’s include #7 Cruz Bay and #1 Miss Domina.

Race 6 – $50k Starter Allowance – 1 1/16th Turf

Let’s play a tough luck loser last out in #7 Fieldstone who lost any chance in the upper stretch. Additionally, I love the tactical speed that he possesses in a race that doesn’t have a clear leader. I’ll use #8 Hawk of War out of the same race as well. He’s improved nicely in all three of his last starts and takes a step back down the class ladder today.

Race 8 – 86k N1X – 5.5 Turf

I’m going to close this out with a single. #8 Spicy Marg was scratched out over the weekend to end up in this spot. Her last race is better then it looks on paper, she stumbled out of the gate and rushed up to take the lead in 21 2/5. She should make the lead today without having to empty the take which will make her tough down the lane.
