The Somobombs: Keeneland Picks and Late Pick 4 for October 13th, 2021

It was nice to close out last weekend with a $850 day with multiple Somobomb players cashing the Early Pick 5 for over $8000. I’m going to cover the Keeneland weekend and an additional track on Friday and Saturday. The fields are solid all weekend and there should be shots at some nice scores. Race 7 – $84k MSW – 1 3/16th Turf

Ellis Park was live all meet at Kentucky Downs and #2 English Treasure comes out of a live race. A step forward here makes her dangerous. #7 Palamos comes out of the Motion barn off four straight races that are good enough to get the job done here. Let’s use the #12 Fast as Flight to close out this race.

Race 8 – $86k N1X – 7F Dirt

This races is all about #6 Olympiad who is coming out of the a race that I have questions about in Saratoga. Barn mate Baby Yoda looked mortal in defeat and I’m not sure Ducale was much who ran in 3rd either so let’s fade him. He’ll take a ton of money and is ripe to beat. Let’s try to take him out with #8 Tulane Tryst who ran three very good races before running in a Grade 1. Today he drops back down in class and should be live. Let’s go two deep with #5 Milliken who was professional in debut coming up the rail and opened up easy.

Race 9 – $88k N2X – 1 1/2 Turf

We’re spread here to try to get a number. Let’s kick it off with #7 Malthael who has improved in each start with the Maker barn. I’ll include #4 Mud Pie whose longer races are his best. Let’s include #1 Fantasioso, and #2 Cibolian.

Race 10 – $15k MCL – 6F

I’ll take a shot at #10 Bit O Bodie as well who should be closing late after after showing speed going longer on dirt two back. Let’s use firster #6 Magic Lamp who shows up at Keeneland for McKeever who’s 24% first out. We will cost it out with #8 Palace Magic who has 2nd time blinkers with connections I respect.
