The Somobombs: Del Mar and Churchill Picks with Churchill Late Pick 4 for November 13th, 2021

Friday was a solid start to the weekend cashing the Early Pick 5, Late Pick 4 and a bunch of Pick 3’s over at Del Mar. Hopefully we can keep it rolling through the weekend! Race 8 – MSW $120k – 1M

I’m all about the #5 Mask Patrol here. If you have a minute, go back and check out the replay of his first race. Didn’t break great, made a middle move and ended up about 8 wide on the turn before flattening out. I respect the #9 Hornbeam who’s been working well in the AM and gets Geroux first out. Let’s include the #1 Minnesota Ready and #10 Epicenter as well.

Race 9 – Alw $127k / N2L – 6F

The #3 Girl With a Dream would have won easy last out if they were going 6F instead of 6.5F so I like her on the cutback. You’ve got to respect the #7 Pipeline Girl here too. After winning on debut at 6F she tried grass and then 1 1/16th miles. She’s getting back to what she is best at today. Add the #2 Devine Charger as well.

Race 10 – Dream Supreme Stakes – $300k – 6F

I am sure a couple of these connections wish they ran last week in the BC, but here we are. I’m going to single here with #6 Bell’s the One. She’s the best horse when she is on her game and gets pace. She should have both of those today. If I went deeper, the #7 Frank’s Rockette would be next on the ticket.

Race 11 – MSW $120k – 1 Mile

In his 5th start, #4 Call Me Midnight seems to have found the right field here. I’ll use two others to close out the ticket, #8 Quick to Blame who is the Cox horse that I prefer, #9 Oiler who got a less then ideal trip first time out at 7F.
