It was nice to cash the Late Pick 4 for $2.50 and the Late Pick 5 at Santa Anita to pay for the day, but it could have been a big one. If that 1 gets by in the last at Belmont then we cash another $3,500 on top of the $800 at Santa Anita and it’s an awesome day!

Race 7 – $61k MSW

Let’s start this sequence off with a single. #2 Winning Map has been working lights out in the AM, is coming out of the win early Baffert barn and is from win early sire Liam’s Map.

Race 8 – $100k Zuma Beach

This race starts with #4 MacKinnon who’s beaten quite a few in here and should get the pace set up he’s looking for today. #5 Silver Surfer lost to MacKinnon last out, but lacked room in the stretch and could flip the script with a better trip. Let’s use the two maidens as well, #2 Law Abiding and #3 Picota.

Race 9 – The Zenyatta Stakes

In race race loaded with pace, let’s use the horses who don’t need the lead. #2 As Time Goes By is the most talented horse and has to be on the tickets. Closers #4 Miss Bigly and #5 California Kook also look dangerous due to the pace set up. We will close this race out with #8 Stellar Sound who’s 3rd off the layoff and stretches back out.

Race 10 – $200k Surfer Girl

We end the sequence with a wide open 2YO Turf stakes! I liked the race that produced #6 Brandon’smylawyer and #11 Sterling Crest the best so I’ll use both. #7 Hemmerle was favored in debut, had a rough beginning, but was rolling late and should improve. Let’s use #4 Saturday Nite Girl and #2 It’s Simple to close this out!
