The carryover swelled to $1,413,928 after no tickets hit all six winners on Saturday. Sunday presents a rare and lucrative opportunity for horseplayers, as the pool is expected to balloon with new money. On closing day last year, a $357,208 carryover attracted more than $2 million in fresh wagers, and the winning ticket returned $131,622.

The largest Pick 6 carryover in Churchill Downs history occurred on Nov. 18, 2005, when $1,694,336 carried into the next day and more than $4 million was bet. That pool paid $32,865 for a $2 ticket.

The Derby City 6 features a player-friendly 15% takeout, one of the lowest multi-race wager rates in North America, and costs just 20 cents per combination—making it accessible for bettors of all levels.

With a massive pot up for grabs and the Spring Meet coming to a close, Sunday’s action promises to be must-play territory for serious and casual players alike—and of course, we’ve got all your picks ready to go here.
