Rocket Picks 🚀: Belmont Park, Churchill Downs, and Delaware Park for June 23, 2022

Race 6: Claiming

#7 Brilliant Brooks was able to defeat starter allowance runners last time out over this track in impressive fashion. He is in a good spot to make it two in a row today. #3 Rejected Again runs first off of the claim for Rudy Rodriguez, who moves the horse up in class today, which is a good sign.

Race 7: Allowance Optional Claiming

#6 Goodnight Olive looks like a standout no matter how you look at it today. She was ultra-impressive in her last two starts, while Chad Brown has tremendous numbers off of the layoff. #1 Honey Money will look to make it two in a row after an impressive victory last time out. She is a consistent runner at this circuit.

Race 8: Allowance Optional Claiming

#4 Whatmakessammyrun drops down in class for this one over running fifth in a tough Grade 1 event just 12 days ago. Flavien Prat will be aboard once again in this spot. #1 Principled Stand gets back in distance after a hard nosed win against allowance runners going one mile last time out.

Race 9: Maiden Claiming

#12 Devil Or Angel gets a big rider upgrade today, while also getting back to the dirt, and dropping down to the maiden claiming ranks for the first time. #11 Barone Marchis runs first off of the claim for Noda today, while Irad Ortiz Jr. picks up the mount.
