Ricky’s Rockets🚀 had a great start to the week cashing in some big tickets on Thursday afternoon! It’s always important to get off to these types of starts so we can start building our bankrolls for the weekend. We attack the same three tracks again as we head towards the weekend. We have coverage from Gulfstream Park, Keeneland and Oaklawn Park.

Race 7: TVG Limestone Turf Sprint Stakes for 3-year-old fillies going 5 1/2 furlongs on the turf

#8 Campanelle is the most talented filly in this field by quite a large margin, and one can make the case she should be the favorite. We haven’t seen her in quite some time, and her last sprint was August of last year in France. Off of talent alone she should win but there are a lot of questions to be answered. #9 Goin’ Good comes into this race undefeated on the grass, and her only loss was in the Dixiebelle Stakes at Oaklawn in February. She’s one of many talented fillies who are worthy of pulling off an upset.

Race 8: Allowance for 4-year-olds and upward going 6 1/2 furlongs on the dirt

#3 Aloha West will get his second chance at facing winners after a tough go of it on March 13 at Oaklawn. If anyone is able to rewatch that race, it was evident he never had a chance after getting pinched at the start. #5 Answer In has been a favorite on too many occasions to put a ton of trust into him. While saying that, it’s noteworthy to mention he gets back to one turn for Brad Cox. That’s the main reason I’m making him a must use in this spot.

Race 9: Maker’s Mark Mile Stakes (G1) for 4-year-olds and upward going 1 mile (8 furlongs) on the turf

#1 Get Smokin looked pretty good in his 4-year-old debut for Tom Bush in the Tampa Bay Stakes (G3) in February. This might be a little short for him, but he should be on the lead in a race that’s guaranteed to include slow fractions. #3 Somelikeithotbrown didn’t end his 2020 campaign in thew way he would’ve hoped, finishing 9th in the Fort Lauderdale Stakes (G2) in December.

Race 10: Maiden Special Weight for 3-year-old fillies going 7 furlongs on the dirt

#1 Front Street should be the favorite given some of the fillies she’s had to contend with, and almost beat. She’s tried at four different tracks, but none of them have produced a winning effort. #9 Caramel Swirl was given the opportunity to try the grass for the first time in her career, but that didn’t seem to make much of a difference. She will contend with Front Street for the lead early on. These two are much the best on paper, but a few others make sense as well.
