Ricky’s Rockets 🚀: Del Mar, Indiana Grand and Saratoga Picks for September 2, 2021

Ricky’s Rockets 🚀 got closing week at Saratoga off the right way on Wednesday afternoon. Not only is it the last week at Saratoga, but it’s also the last week at Del Mar as well. We have racing from coast-to-coast on Thursday afternoon, and it’s time to keep the momentum rolling.

Saratoga September 2, 2021

Race 7: $80,000 Allowance Optional Claiming for fillies and mares 3-year-olds and upward going 5 1/2 furlongs on the dirt OFF TURF

#8 Summer Brew gets a massive upgrade as this race comes off of the grass. He instantly becomes a player for Jorge Abreu in this dirt sprint. #9 Time Limit has won two in a row, and three out of four. Luis Saez was aboard when he won by a 1/2 length. 

Race 8: $40,000 Claiming for 3-year-olds and upward going 1 1/8 miles (9 furlongs) on the dirt

With the race on a muddy track, I have changed my selections to #5 Musical America and #10 Two Thirty Five!

Race 9: P. G. Johnson Stakes for 2-year-old fillies going 7 furlongs on the dirt OFF TURF
