Ricky’s Rockets 🚀: Belmont Park, Delaware Park and Gulfstream Park Picks for July 10, 2021

#RickysRockets🚀 has found their stride as of late, making it three winning days in a row. We were able to bring home a FREE late Pick 4 for $1,083.25 and the late Pick 5 for $3,557.75! After introducing Gulfstream Park back into the mix, we also head back to Delaware Park. There are eight stakes races that we will be covering, four of which are graded stakes. With less than a week to Del Mar and Saratoga, it’s the perfect time to get on board and get going as we hit the peak of the summer.

Also included below: my 11-race preview of Belmont Park, 10-race preview of Delaware Park, 13-race preview of Gulfstream Park!

Belmont Park July 10, 2021

Race 8: Victory Ride Stakes (G3) for 3-year-old fillies going 6 1/2 furlongs on the dirt

#1 Bella Sofia romped in her debut, and almost beat the undefeated Australasia in the Jersey Girl Stakes. She will be asked to go an extra 1/2 furlong in this one, but her odds are too good not to include her on the ticket. #7 Australasia looks to be the main contender, based on a lot of different factors. She’s been on multiple tracks going multiple distances as well. This might be the toughest test she’s going to have to this point in her career.

Race 9: Belmont Derby Invitational Stakes (G1) for 3-year-olds going 1 1/4 miles (10 furlongs) on the inner turf

#2 Bolshoi Ballet might be the most surefire winner on the card after breaking this one down. Ryan Moore and Aiden O’Brien would be thrilled if this track is good or soft. In six races over wet turf, she’s won three of them. #5 Du Jour might have a trainer upgrade as he moves to Bill Mott’s barn from Bob Baffert’s barn. Mott is one of the best trainers in the country on the turf.

Race 10: Maiden Special Weight for 3-year-olds and upward going 7 furlongs on the widener turf

#3 Ranger Fox has established himself as a turf runner since he made the switch in surfaces. Joel Rosario has also been great for the son by Nyquist as well. His front-running style should be enhanced if this turf course isn’t firm. #11 Deregulation could also enjoy a wet turf course, given his European pedigree. He lost to Ranger Fox in hi sdebut back on May 2 going 6 furlongs at Belmont Park.

Race 11: $25,000 Claiming for 3-year-olds and upward going 1 1/16 miles (8 1/2 furlongs) on the inner turf

#3 Soglio gets a trainer upgrade from Steve Klesaris to Orlando Noda, who’s great in these situations. He’s due for a big race especially after a clunker last time out. #5 Rejected Again has some muddied up form, but the one race at this level on May 2 is good enough to win. Mike Maker and Luis Saez are the perfect jockey/trainer combo to get this colt out of a rut.
