LAUREL, MD – Laurel Park hosted another successful edition of its annual Maryland Million Day on Saturday, which included 8 stakes and 4 starter stakes totaling just over $1 million in purses available to horses eligible for the Maryland Million series.

$150,000 Maryland Million Classic Stakes

Horses 3 and up going 1 1/8 miles on the dirt

Monday Morning QB returned $15.60 to win, $5.60 to place, and $5 to show. Harpers First Ride brought back $2.80 to place and $2.10 to show, while Tattooed paid $9 to show.

$100,000 Maryland Million Sprint Stakes

Horses 3 and up going 6 furlongs on the dirt

Karan’s Notion returned $34.20 to win, $16 to place, and $9.20 to show. Baptize the Boy brought back $17 to place and $10.60 to show, while Lewisfield paid $5 to show.

$100,000 Maryland Million Turf Stakes

Horses 3 and up going 1 1/8 miles on the turf

Pretty Good Year returned $32 to win, $10.20 to place, and $5 to show. Cannon’s Roar brought back $5.20 to place and $3 to show, while Nick Papagiorgio paid $2.40 to show.

Fillies and mares 3 and up going 7 furlongs on the dirt

Hello Beautiful returned $3 to win, $2.40 to place, and $2.20 to show. Quiet Imagination brought back $3.80 to place and $2.80 to show, while Le Weekend paid $5.40 to show.
