HOT SPRINGS, AR – Inga Demeritte’s Lady Glamour will take her second stab at two turns Friday in the $400,000 Fantasy Stakes (G3) at Oaklawn Park.
Lady Glamour hit the board in three of her four stakes attempts in 2019 and also won both non-stakes starts, ending the year with a 6-2-1-2 record. She transferred to the Kenny Smith barn during the winter and made her 2020 debut on April 4, finishing a well-beaten sixth in the 6-furlong Purple Martin Stakes.
Julie Burke, aboard for Lady Glamour’s previous three starts, will ride once again while seeking her first graded stakes score as a jockey. Smith is no stranger to winning big Oaklawn Park events, having taken the Razorback Handicap (G2) and the Essex Handicap (G3) in 1995 with Silver Goblin.
