Handicapping Ricky’s Rockets ?: Aqueduct, Churchill Downs, and Del Mar Picks for November 20, 2020 November 19, 2020 Handicapping Ricky’s Rockets ?: Aqueduct, Churchill Downs, and Del Mar Picks for November 20, 2020 November 19, 2020 By: Ricky Pasternak email Share: share on facebook share on twitter share on linkedin email this article Ricky’s Rockets? continues to roll on just a week before Turkey day! We got off to a great Thursday afternoon cashing both Pick 4’s and both Pick 5’s from Churchill Downs. I know this made a lot of people happy and made a lot of people some money in the process!. Let’s keep it rolling as we attack racing from across the country. Also included below: my 9-race preview of Churchill Downs and 8-race preview of Del Mar. Best of luck! ( Content Continues Below Ad ) Race 7: $40,000 Allowance Optional Claiming for New York-bred fillies and mares 3-year-olds and upward going 6 furlongs on the dirt #2 Fierce Lady will need to run better to win this race but she has one of the hottest trainers on the circuit in Rudy Rodriguez. Rodriguez is winning at 33% at the meet and has his runners in top shape as of late. #4 Fair Regis drops down to this level after running in the Iroquois Stakes last time out. She’s not a stakes runner, but this spot makes much more sense for her. Race 8: $35,000 Claiming for 3-year-olds and upward going 1 1/16 miles (8 1/2 furlongs) on the outer turf The two runners to beat are clearly the top two choices on the morning line. #4 Dream Friend and #5 Voting Control will be vying for favoritism. Dream Friend drops in class while Voting Control makes only his second start over a firm turf course this year. Look for these two to battle down the stretch. Race 9: Allowance for fillies and mares 3-year-olds and upward going 1 mile (8 furlongs) on the inner turf #8 Fierce Scarlett returns to New York for the first time since last year for Chad Brown. Brown found a favorable spot for her in Kentucky, but gets get back to New York where she broke her maiden. Brown has finished in the money with 12/21 starters at the Aqueduct fall meet. #10 Apurate will look to make it two in a row after going gate-to-wire last time out. That was her first start going 8 furlongs or longer on the turf in 2020. Race 10: $16,000 Claiming for fillies and mares 3-year-olds and upward going 6 furlongs on the dirt #1 Mebs Web finally broke her maiden after 13 starts and will look to make it two in a row. Eric Cancel has been aboard in her last four starts, and she’s responded well to him being aboard. Cancel only has 4 wins but has finished in the money in 26/42 races at the meet. #6 Well Brush Mytooth makes his return to the track for the first time since she ran in Jason Servis’ barn, who is under federal indictment. I’m hoping she’s been given the requisite time to train and get back to her better races at a price.
