Handicapping 2019 Wood Memorial Picks and Wagering Guide from Aqueduct April 6, 2019 Handicapping 2019 Wood Memorial Picks and Wagering Guide from Aqueduct April 6, 2019 By: Jared Welch twitterfacebooklinkedinemail Share: share on facebook share on twitter share on linkedin email this article Graded stakes winners Tax, Tacitus and Haikal top a wide-open 95th running of the Wood Memorial (G2) Saturday at Aqueduct. Gotham (G3) winner Haikal looks to repeat, but his trainer says he will be more forwardly placed on Saturday. “The only question is the two turns, but we feel like it’ll be no problem. Hopefully he won’t be as far back as he was last time,” said trainer Kiaran McLaughlin. “He could be in the middle of the pack or last, but he won’t be 15 lengths off the pace like last time. He has a great mind and the post doesn’t matter with him. We’ll be behind most of the horses and so we’ll be able to save ground.” All eyes will be on Aqueduct as the card is LOADED with 5 incredible stakes races. We are going ALL IN with this 11-race card!
