Woodbine Handicapping: Big Bazinga Worth the Bet

Woodbine Handicapping: Big Bazinga Worth the Bet

Sunday’s Woodbine card is full of small fields and doesn’t offer much value. In fact, many of the cards have been pretty bad to start the season. I can promise you that they’ll get better. Once the weather gets better in Toronto, the fields will fill out and offer good value.

Race 2 is intriguing on Sunday as a horse by the name of Big Bazinga shows up in the entries. This lightly raced gelding has run with some very good horses and looks to be the one to beat. I like the fact that the horse ran at Gulfstream Park in March and has a race under his belt before returning to Woodbine. With a clean trip today I don’t see why the horse wouldn’t compete.

Race 8 brings The Jacques Cartier Stakes where Calgary Cat will be the one to beat. I’ll be watching this one as I don’t really see it as a good betting race. I will pay close attention to the Wesley Ward import (Pablo Del Monte). It’s hard to see Ward shipping something into a Stakes race without confidence.

I have several more selections today but I’ll definitely be betting Big Bazinga. As long as the odds aren’t ridiculous he’s worth a wager. If you’re interested in my eBook, click the link below. It’s free and has a lot of good information.
