The Somobombs: Gulfstream and Belmont Full Card Selections – Free Gulfstream Late Pick 4 for September 24th, 2021

What a way to kick off the return of the Somobomb’s articles! We crushed the late Pick 4 from Belmont yesterday that was given out right here to the tune of $1,504 on a $48 ticket! Congrats to everyone who cashed in with us!

Today the Somobombs are back with a full Grid and Tickets from Belmont and the Grid-only option from Gulfstream Park. Belmont is a press style card with a couple of the Pick 4s and 5s that we will play for more then $0.50. At Gulfstream, we are going to go price hunting and see if we can bag another monster. Race 6 – $20k Claimers – 6F Dirt

I’m a sucker for horses like #6 Just Right Mike who showed a ton of talent early, including facing Golden Pal, before having awful luck the last two. He’s worth a look a 6-1. #3 First Rule should be the quickest out of the gates and has a solid chance of taking this field wire to wire. Let’s include the #5 Absolute Grit here as well.

Race 7 – $60k MSW – 7 1/2F Turf

Practical Joke, the best 1st crop sire, has a couple in here, but I’m going to focus on #8 Dry Humor who’s debuting out of the Mark Casse barn and has been working well. #9 Bullet On Tap is screaming for the turf and added distance, she gets both today and should be very live. #1 Sister Lou Ann gets the rail and has been live working in the morning. We will also use #5 Big Tentations and #3 Easy Come Easy Go as well.

Race 8 – $62k OC – 1 Mile Dirt

Let’s create some variance here and single up the controlling speed and 3rd choice on the ML, #2 Dance d’Oro. She’s shown that this mile is her best distance and faced the likes of Lake Avenue and Sugar Fix. She also beat Estilo Talentoso here at Gulfstream at this distance 5 back.

Race 9 – $50k MSW (Statebred) 6 1/2F Dirt

#3 Stacks of Chips should like the dirt first time out for a good Trainer / Jockey combination. #1 Dove in Charge should improve 2nd time out after a tough trip and is live from the inside post. We will close out the ticket with #6 Flor de Plata and #2 Hot Foot Susie.
