Under Emisael Jaramillo as he broke from post 2, Breeze On By set opening fractions of :22.37 and :45.68 while Gatsby hounded him in the far turn. Boca Boy, Famous Gent, Little Demon, Son of a Beast, Mr Tingles, Valiant Thor, and Casalsa completed the order of finish. Lost Lover, Paladio, and Social Equality were scratched.
