Free NHL Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 4/29/22

This is the final night of the regular season and this will be a day for bettors to be very careful. Most of these games don’t mean a damn thing and there is no way to predict who will play and what the mindset of each team is going to be. I’m going to make my predictions, but keep in mind, I’m not betting much, if anything on most of these games. Having said all of that we had a fantastic and very profitable night on Thursday giving us a jump start heading into the Stanley Cup playoffs starting Monday.

We missed the Best Bet and that was the only negative about the night. For the 2nd night in a row, in a game they really needed, the Capitals lost to the Islanders. They still trail Pittsburgh by 1 point for 3rd place in the Metropolitan division, going into the final game tonight. Our Best Bet of the Day record now stands at 46-28 since the All-Star Break.

We went a good 7-2 betting the MoneyLine last night raising our overall record to 328-180 since the All-Star break.

The Upset Special came is as well as Nashville prevailed in overtime over the Avalanche. That was a nice profit we weren’t expecting.

And, finally we stay hot with the Parlays as we hit another one. Our $10 wager had a Payout of $83 to cap off the night.

There are 15 games on the schedule for tonight and the vast majority of them mean very little. Last warning; be careful with your wagering.

*PAPA DUDES BEST BET* Boston at Toronto: This game can also double as the Best Game of the Night as well. Toronto doesn’t have much to play for, as they are locked into 2nd place in the Atlantic division. So, they will be concentrating on staying healthy and being rested for the first round of the playoffs. On the other hand Boston needs a win or tie tonight, combined with a Tampa Bay loss to the Islanders, to finish 3rd and avoid a wild card spot. They should have more momentum and focus in this one. PAPA DUDES BEST BET: Bet the MoneyLine on Boston -120

*PAPA DUDES UPSET SPECIAL* Colorado at Minnesota: The Avs are a slight favorite and have had the No.1 seed in the West locked up for a long time now. They are only 1-2-3 in their last six games and their might be some cause for concern coming into the playoffs. Translation: they might play their starters tonight and go into postseason with some good vibes. Minnesota needs a win or a St.Louis loss or tie, to clinch home ice advantage in their first round matchup with the Blues. It might be worth a shot to bet on the Wild. PAPA DUDES UPSET PICK: Bet the MoneyLine on Minnesota -110

Washington at New York Rangers: The Capitals have blown a golden opportunity to jump the Penguins and gain 3rd place in the Metropolitan division. They have lost their last three games, and the last two against the Islanders, are particularly troubling. They still could finish 3rd with a win over New York and a Pittsburgh loss at home against Columbus. The Rangers are locked in 2nd place in the Metro and are playing out the season, but they have lost their last three and nobody wants to head into the postseason on a lengthy losing streak. I like New York to play hard and get the win tonight. PAPA DUDES PICK: Bet the MoneyLine on the Rangers -110

New Jersey over Detroit

Ottawa over Philadelphia
