Papa Dudes College Football Bottom Ten After Week 6

The Bottom-10 teams came up with a 2-5 record this week and 3 teams were idle. In the matchup of the year No.1 UMASS defeated No.3 UCONN 27-13 and that was a huge blow to their quest to become Bottom-10 champions. However, the celebration is still going on in Connecticut because the Huskies have played their way back into the No.1 spot. Let’s see how this week’s poll plays out.

NO.10: ARIZONA 0–5: The Wildcats continue to be the only team in a Power 5 Conference winless. Next Loss: at Colorado

NO.9: KANSAS 1-4: They stay at No.9 after taking last week off. Next Loss: Texas Tech

NO.8 SOUTH FLORIDA 1-4: The Bulls stay at No.8 and resume action after the coaches told them they were sick of them and canceled practice all last week. Next Loss: Tulsa

NO.7 NEW MEXICO STATE 1-5: Look who’s back where they belong? The Aggies started the year in the Bottom-10 and have played their way back into the poll. Next Week: Idle

NO.6 UNLV 0-5: The Rebels are inept but at least they are consistent. Next Loss: Utah State

NO.5 SOUTHERN MISS 1-5: They continue to be impressive and move up two spots this week. Next Loss: UAB

NO.4 UMASS 1-5: Yeah, I know they are still celebrating their glorious victory last Saturday. But, it came against another Bottom-10 foe and they have to win another one to get out. On a brighter spot, they probably lost all chances to finish No.1. Next Week: Idle

NO.3 FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL 1-5: The Panthers are on a mission as they continue to play miserably this season. They are now up to No.3. ga Next Weeks: Idle

NO.2 OHIO 1-5: The Bobcats refuse to give up their quest for the title as they are a solid No.2 Next Loss: at Buffalo

NO.1 UCONN 0-7: After playing a couple of decent games and totally disappointing their fans, the Huskies played a terrible game in all phases and worked their way back into the top spot in the Bottom-10 poll. Their mission is to keep the top spot in their 2nd attempt this year. Next Loss: Yale

Dropped out: Akron

Busting Down the Fence to Get In: California, Old Dominion, Tulane, North Texas, Arkansas State
