NBA NBA Free Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 4/2/22 April 2, 2022 Sam Navarro-USA TODAY Sports NBA NBA Free Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 4/2/22 April 2, 2022 By: Mike Halterman email Share: share on facebook share on twitter share on linkedin email this article Last night the NBA returned to from with upsets across the board. The Mavericks, Suns, Bucks, and Nuggets all lost games they were favored to win. That’s the way it goes on some nights when you are betting sports.. After a winning streak, we missed the Best Bet last night as the unreliable Nuggets bit us again, losing to Minnesota at home 136-130 in a shootout. That lowered our Best Bet of the Day record to 63-32 since Jan. 1st. We went a pathetic 4-6 betting the MoneyLine, and our overall record now stands at 380-197 for 2022. We managed to make a profit as Memphis upset Phoenix allowing our Upset Special to cash. Memphis continues to be very impressive, as they won last night without Ja Marant, against the best team in the league. If he is healthy for the playoffs, they might be the team to beat. Today there are only 5 games on the docket so let’s see if we can have a bounce-back Saturday. Miami made a statement in Boston Wednesday night with a big win over the red-hot Celtics. They clamped on the defense in the 4th quarter and shut the high-flying Celtics down. The Bulls have won three out of four and they need a statement game of their own. I think we have a contrast of styles and the Heat are the toughest, more physical of the two teams. I’m going with the visitors. PAPA DUDES BEST BET: Miami -2.5 *PAPA DUDES UPSET SPECIAL* Utah 46-31 (-2) at Golden State 48-29: This is a game between two teams that are really struggling heading into the playoffs. Utah has lost 5 out of 6, but they are coming off a win, albeit against the lowly Lakers. Golden State is even worse, having lost 4 in a row and 7 out if their last 8. Both teams are in need of a win to get back on track. I’m going law of averages here, and picking the home team to win because they are overdue. PAPA DUDES PICK: Golden State +2 3-Team Parlay: We are going with 1 soft favorite, and 2 underdogs in tonight’s parlay. Leg 1: Miami (-2.5) at Chicago: Bet the MoneyLine on the Heat -130 Leg 2: Cleveland (-1.5) at New York Knicks: Bet the MoneyLine on the Knicks +105 Leg 3: Utah (-2) at Golden State: Bet the MoneyLine on the Warriors +110 Bet $10 for a Payout of $66.17
