After six straight nights of winners, we had a bad night betting the NHL. The less said, the better.

We missed our Best Bet, as the Islanders did what they usually do and upset the Rangers 3-0 in Madison Square Garden. That lowered our Best Bet of the Day record to 27-20 since the All-Star Break.

The Upset Special just missed for the 3rd night in a row as the Blues lost in overtime to Edmonton. Three straight losses in overtime is tough to swallow. .

We went 3-4 betting the MoneyLine, and our overall record is now 198-113 since the All-Star break.

*PAPA DUDES BEST BET OF THE DAY* Pittsburgh Penguins at Colorado Avalanche: This is the game of the day as the Penguins take on the Avalanche in the Mile High City. Both teams are firmly in the playoffs and are playing very well. This game doesn’t mean much to Colorado as they are in control of the #1 seed in the Western conference. However, Pittsburgh needs to keep winning to stay out of a wild card slot in the East. The Penguins have all the motivation in this one, but I don’t really care. *PAPA DUDES UPSET SPECIAL* Los Angeles at Winnipeg: The Kings come into Winnipeg and they are playing well. They are in a good spot in the Pacific for the playoffs. Meanwhile, the Jets are hanging in there and have playoff aspirations of their own. They need every win they can get and this would be a big one. I think Winnipeg is probably going to win, but this is the best matchup tonight that I see for an upset. I’m throwing a few dollars on the Kings.
