Free NHL Western Conference Playoffs Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 5/5/22

Last night was a good betting night for us as we cashed in on some bets. Carolina became the first team in the Playoffs to take a 2-0 lead and are as impressive as anyone so far. Minnesota, Tampa Bay, and Edmonton all won to even their respective series at 1-1. The action continues tonight with 4 more games on the schedule.

We cashed both of our Best Bets last night as Carolina and Edmonton both won. Hopefully, those two winners will get us going as we have been struggling is this category. Our Best Bet of the Day record is now 49-31 since the All-Star Break.

We went 3-1 betting the MoneyLine and are kicking ourselves for not picking the Lightning. Our overall record is 344-191 as the playoffs continue.

We did pick Tampa Bay to win in our Parlay and turned a $10 bet into a Payout of $59.58. We continue to stay pretty warm in this category.

The run for the Stanley Cup continues tonight with 4 more games on the schedule. Let’s see what Vegas is thinking about the 2 Western Conference games and see if we can get lucky.

*PAPA DUDES BEST BET OF THE DAY* Dallas at Calgary: Calgary leads the series 1-0: The Flames scored got a 1st period goal from Elias Lindholm and made that stand up for a 1-0 win over the punchless Dallas Stars. Goaltender, Jacob Markstrom got the shutout, but only had to stop 16 shots. The Calgary penalty kill was excellent stopping all 5 power play opportunities for Dallas. The Stars can gain some confidence in the fact that goalie, Jake Oettinger, was outstanding in his playoff debut, stopping 25 of the 26 shots he faced. But, they also blew a golden opportunity to steal a game on the road, and have to be kicking themselves for losing when holding the home team to 1 goal. I’m pretty sure the Flames can play much better and will come out firing in Game 2. I think they send the Stars home down 0-2. PAPA DUDES BEST BET: Calgary

Nashville at Colorado: Colorado leads the series 1-0: It is hard to imagine that Colorado will score 5 goals in the first period again tonight, as they jumped all over the Predators and ended Game 1 practically before Nashville got off the bus. Nathan MacKinnon scored two goals to lead the way and Darcy Kuemper had 23 saves in goal. Nashville started their backup goaltender because of an injury to Juuse Saros and the Avalanche took full advantage of that. There is no information as to whether Saros will play tonight. I think we can expect a better performance from the Predators tonight but it is really dumb to pick against Colorado at home. PAPA DUDES PICK: Colorado

3- TEAM PARLAY:
