Free NHL Western Conference Playoffs Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 5/13/22

Last night was another great night of hockey as are now guaranteed at least three Game 7’s and this is only the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. After tonight’s game we could have as many as six series that will go the full seven games to decide who makes it to the Conference Semifinals. As of now, only Colorado and St.Louis have punched their ticket to the next round.

We lost our Best Bet as we keep picking Carolina and they Boston keeps beating us. I guess we better realize the Bruins are a tough out in the playoffs. Our Best Bet of the Day record is now 53-38 since the All-Star Break.

We went only 2-2 betting the MoneyLine missing the Carolina and Los Angeles games. Our overall record is now 361-205 as the playoffs continue.

The run for the Stanley Cup continues today with 3 more games on the schedule. Let’s see what Vegas is thinking about the Calgary-Dallas game and see if we can make the right picks tonight. As usual, these games will be tough to figure out.

Calgary at Dallas: Calgary leads the series 3-2: The Flames have come back from a 2-1 deficit, with two straight wins, and have a lot of momentum coming into this possible elimination game. Trailing 1-0 going into the 3rd period Wednesday night, they scored 3 unanswered goals and won a hard-fought Game 5. Jacob Markstrom made 20 saves and the tight Calgary defense stood strong as usual. Dallas has rode the excellent goaltending of Jake Oettinger and it was hardly his fault, as he stopped 29 shots and kept the Stars in the game. But, somewhere along the way a team has to score some goals, and Dallas has only 8 goals in the five games played in this series. They have got to figure a way to ignite some offense or it might end for them tonight. Calgary is the better team and will roll into Dallas with the confidence and the ability to close this series out. If they bring their game they should get the win.
