Free NHL Eastern Conference Playoffs Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 5/13/22

Last night was another great night of hockey as are now guaranteed at least three Game 7’s and this is only the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. After tonight’s game we could have as many as six series that will go the full seven games to decide who makes it to the Conference Semifinals. As of now, only Colorado and St.Louis have punched their ticket to the next round.

We lost our Best Bet as we keep picking Carolina and they Boston keeps beating us. I guess we better realize the Bruins are a tough out in the playoffs. Our Best Bet of the Day record is now 53-38 since the All-Star Break.

We went only 2-2 betting the MoneyLine missing the Carolina and Los Angeles games. Our overall record is now 361-205 as the playoffs continue.

The run for the Stanley Cup continues today with 3 more games on the schedule. Let’s see what Vegas is thinking about the two Eastern Conference games and see if we can make the right picks tonight. As usual, these games will be tough to figure out.

*PAPA DUDES BEST BET OF THE DAY* Florida at Washington: Florida leads the series 3-2: Florida has shown what they are made of the last two games as they have had to stage comebacks in both winning efforts. Trailing 3-0 in the 2nd period in Game 5, the Panthers scored the final five goals of the game to win 5-3 heading back to Washington tonight. Carter Verhaeghe had 2 goals and 3 assists to lead the way for Florida. Sergei Bobrovsky was solid in goal, stopping 30 shots and the Panthers would love to end this series tonight and get rid of the pesky Capitals. washington wasn’t given much of a chance in this series, but one could argue they have been the best team. They just haven’t been able to finish the last two games and that’s why they are in the spot they are in. I just don’t know if they have enough left in the tank to bounce back from what has to be two very difficult losses to swallow. But, they are a gritty bunch and they aren’t going to roll over. New York Rangers at Pittsburgh: Pittsburgh leads the series 3-2: The Penguins have a chance to eliminate New York tonight at home and move on to the second round. They had the Rangers on the verge of elimination on Wednesday, with a 3-1 lead in the 2nd period. But the Rangers responded and finished them off 5-3 to send the series back to Pittsburgh. There is also the status of Sidney Crosby who left the game with an upper-body injury and there has been no decision on whether he will play tonight. So, tonight boils down to whether the Penguins can recover from that tough loss, possibly without Crosby, and playing with 3rd-string goaltender Louis Domingue as well. The Rangers have not played well in this series and they will have plenty of momentum coming into this one tonight. They are going to need a solid performance out of Igor Shesterson in goal to pull of the win and head back to New York for a Game 7.
