Free NHL Western Conference Playoffs Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 5/10/22

Last night we had a decent night as we correctly hot 3 out of 4 games in the NHL. We needed a bounce back night after a horrible weekend. There are 4 more toss-up like games tonight as the Stanley Cup playoffs continue.d

We finally cashed our Best Bet again as Florida came through on overtime and evened their series with the Capitals at 2-2. Our Best Bet of the Day record is now 52-36 since the All-Star Break.

We went a decent 3-1 betting the MoneyLine as the Rangers kept us from a perfect night. Our overall record is now 354-201as the playoffs continue.

The run for the Stanley Cup continues today with 4 more games on the schedule. Let’s see what Vegas is thinking about the two Western Conference games and see if we can get lucky.

*PAPA DUDES BEST BET OF THE DAY* Los Angeles at Edmonton: The series is tied at 2-2: This is another series that looks like it might go 7. Both teams have looked great at times and just as awful at others. Edmonton has the better players, but lacks playoff success and consistent goaltending. The Kings have more experience and a goalie that is capable of being masterful at any time. In Game 4, with the Kings reeling from two straight blowout losses, Jonathan Quick bounced back from getting pulled in Game 3 with a shutout over the high-scoring Oilers. He stopped all 31 shots and the Kings scored 2 goals in the first period and 2 in the 3rd to even the series at 2-2. Tonight, the stage is in Alberta where the young Oilers are needing a good performance from Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl. Edmonton is the better team and if they can solve Quick, I like them to win this one tonight. PAPA DUDES PICK: Bet the MoneyLine on the Oilers -200

St.Louis at Minnesota: The series is tied at 2-2: Despite losing 4 of their top defensemen, the Blues somehow pieced together a great performance in Game 4, to even the series at 2 games apiece. They called on 2019 playoff hero, Jordan Binnington in goal, and he turned in an outstanding game when they absolutely had to have it. This is a series where home ice isn’t really a factor and the team that has gotten ahead early has won all 4 games. On Sunday, the Blues scored the first two goals and let Binnington do the rest and that will be a key for them tonight. Minnesota has received consistent goalie play from veteran, Marc-Andre Fleury and that could be an advantage for them. Kirill Kaprizov has scored 5 goals and he has been outstanding. He has been supported by Joel Eriksson-Ek who has 3 goals and has been all over the ice in the first four games. This series has been good and it could very well go seven games. To say tonight’s game is huge is a big understatement. I’m going to have to go with the more consistent goaltender and take the Wild, but I am hoping I am dead wrong. GO BLUES! PAPA DUDES PICK: Bet the MoneyLine on Minnesota -145
