Free NHL Western Conference Playoff Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 5/6/22

Last night was a decent betting night for us as the Stanley Cup Playoffs roll on. All eight 1st round series have now gone two games, and only Carolina and Colorado have a 2-0 lead. The other six matchups are tied at a game apiece. Tonight we have four Game 3’s on the schedule and they are as difficult as you might expect. I’m not getting good vibes on any of my picks at all.

We split our Best Bets last night as Florida bounced back and thumped the Capitals for a winner, but the Stars shut out Calgary 2-0 to even up that series heading into Dallas for Game 3 tomorrow. Our Best Bet of the Day record is now 50-32 since the All-Star Break.

We went 3-1 betting the MoneyLine with the Flames loss being the only blemish for the night. That brings our overall record to 347-192 as the playoffs continue.

And, finally we hit another Parlay and turned a $10 bet into a Payout of $50.57. We continue to stay pretty warm in this category.

The run for the Stanley Cup continues tonight with 4 more games on the schedule. Let’s see what Vegas is thinking about the two Western Conference games and see if we can get lucky.

Minnesota at St.Louis: The series is tied at 1-1: These two teams traded blow-outs with the Blues winning Game 1 4-0, and the Wild bouncing back for a 6-2 win in Game 2. Now, the series moves to St.Louis for Game 3 and we should be able to get a handle on things after this game. In the first two games, special teams have been the story. In the Blues Game 1 victory, they were dominant, and in Game 2 Minnesota came back and flipped the table. It is obvious that both teams can score goals, so staying out of the penalty box will be crucial in this game. St.Louis is fighting injuries to an already shaky defense and they have three defensemen who may or may not play tonight. Couple that with the fact that Marc-Andre Fleury is the more reliable of the two goalies, makes me lean towards the Wild in this one. PAPA DUDES PICK: Bet the MoneyLine on Minnesota +105

Edmonton at Los Angeles: The series is tied at 1-1: The Kings went into Edmonton and surprised the Oilers, winning Game 1, 4-3. Goalie, Jonathan Quick was outstanding and they held off a more talented Edmonton team down the stretch. However, the Oilers bounced back in a big way for Game 2 and won in domination fashion 6-0. Now, the series comes to LA and most of us have it as a toss-up kind of game. The Kings are better than people think and they know them have to control Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl to have a chance. Despite, winning Game 1, they haven’t had a lot of success against those two. They are going to have to get another great game out of Quick and there is no doubt, he has some big games left in him. I’m going to go with the more talented Edmonton in this one, but my money is staying in my pocket. PAPA DUDES PICK: Bet the MoneyLine on Edmonton -145

3- TEAM PARLAY:
