Free NHL Western Conference Finals Picks, Best Bets, and Parlay for 6/6/22

Yesterday the defending champion Tampa Bay Lightning, came from behind in the 3rd period, and defeated the Rangers 3-2 in a must-win game. The win gives them a chance to even up the series tomorrow night and that should be a great game to watch. Meanwhile, tonight Colorado can sweep the Oilers in 4 straight with a victory. It is obvious that they have been on a different level than Edmonton and it is going to be difficult for the OIlers to stay alive in the Western Conference Finals.

We cashed our Best Bet yesterday as we went with the Lightning over the Rangers in Tampa Bay and they came through. Our Best Bet of the Day record is now 64-47 in 2022.

We went 1-0 betting the MoneyLine and our overall record is now 382-216 since the All-Star break.

Let’s take a closer look at tonight’s game between Colorado and Edmonton and see what Vegas is thinking.

*PAPA DUDES BEST BET OF THE DAY* Colorado at Edmonton: Colorado leads the series 3-0: These two teams meet again tonight for Game 4, after Colorado edged the Oilers 4-2 in a competitive Game 3. Edmonton had tied the game at 2-2 early in the 3rd period, when the Avalanche received a penalty. They were able to kill that off and J.W. Compher came out of the penalty box, got control of the puck, and beat Mike Smith to give Colorado a 3-2 lead that they never gave up. They continue to get scoring from everywhere as Valeri Nichushkin scored two goals as well. Pavel Francouz made a key save on Connor McDavid and ended up stopping 27 out of 29 stops as he continues to play well stepping in for the injured Darcy Kuemper. Meanwhile, Edmonton played an excellent game and wasted a brilliant performance by Mike Smith who saved 39 Colorado shots to keep Edmonton in the game. They also lost leading scorer Evander Kane, who received a 1-game suspension for a hit on Nazem Kadri so he is out for tonight. Colorado has held McDavid to 2 goals and have shutout Leon Draisaitl in the first three games. Edmonton is going to have to get some scoring from somewhere else in the lineup as the Avalanche has put the clamps on the top line. Tonight, the Oilers are going to need another superior effort from Smith and hope Colorado is looking ahead to the Stanley Cup Finals too soon. I’m not sure either one of these things is going to happen. I hope I’m wrong because I would like to see Edmonton win and set up a Game 5 in Denver on Wednesday. However, I just don’t think the Oilers are good enough. PAPA DUDES BEST BET: Bet the MoneyLine on Colorado -135
