Free NBA Finals Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 6/5/22

Game 2 tips off tonight in San Francisco between Boston and Golden State. The Celtics surprised almost everyone by using a 4th quarter barrage to upset the Warriors to grab the early advantage in this series. They have served a warning to us all that this series isn’t going to be as easy as everyone previously thought.

We missed our Best Bet as we, like a lot of other people thought the Warriors would win Game 1. Our Best Bet of the Day record now stands at 102-58 in 2022.

We went 0-1 betting the MoneyLine and our overall record stands at 486-242 since Jan.1st.

Let’s look at what Vegas thinks about Game 2 in the Boston-Golden State matchup for tonight and see if we can get back on track betting the NBA.

*PAPA DUDES BEST BET OF THE DAY* Boston at Golden State (-4): The Boston Celtics outscored Golden State 40-16 in the 4th quarter on Thursday night, to pull off a 120-108 upset in San Francisco. The hometown crowd and the Warriors both were stunned as they left the arena. Up to that point, the game was going like everyone thought it would, and Golden State led 92-80 after three quarters. Then Boston hit their first 7 three-point attempts to start the 4th quarter, and finished with 9-12 behind the arc, using that to propel them over the shellshocked Warriors. For the game, Boston shot 51% from the field and was 21-41 from three-point land. 36-year old Al Horford finished with 26 points Jaylen Brown had 24, and Derrick White came off the bench and added 21 as well. The fact that Boston was able to win, with Jayson Tatum having a poor shooting night and finishing with only 12 points, is significant as well. So, how will Golden State react? Will they shrug it off and mark it down as a fluke, or will they keep thinking about how they let Game 1 slip away? Most of us are thinking that this veteran team will forget it and move on. But, there are obviously concerns. They couldn’t get a stop when they needed one and their vaunted offense hit the skids and only scored 16 points in the 4th quarter. Stephen Curry scored 34 points after getting off to a tremendous start, but Klay Thompson only had 15, and Jordan Poole was non-existent and finished with 9. So, Game 2 should be very interesting to watch. The Celtics are loving this underdog role and they are a tough and tested opponent. This is a must win game for the Warriors. Vegas seems to be still behind Golden State as they are favored by more points tonight than they were in Game 1. I’m sticking with them as well, but I’m not as confident as I was. PAPA DUDES BEST BET: Golden State -4
