Free NHL Western Conference Finals Picks, Best Bets, and Parlay for 6/4/22

Just how good are the New York Rangers? Last night in New York, they beat the defending champion Lightning to take a 2-0 lead on their best of 7 series. They now have won 4 straight playoff games, allowing only 8 goals in that streak. Igor Shesterkin continues his great play in goal and they are scoring from a lot of different players. The Lightning will try and bounce back in Tampa Bay tomorrow afternoon. Meanwhile, in Edmonton, the Oilers are in a must-win situation against the Avalanche after dropping the first two games in Colorado. They have given up 12 goals in the two games and they are going to have to find a way to slow down the Colorado scoring machine.

We missed our Best Bet yesterday as we went with the Lightning over the Rangers in New York. Our Best Bet of the Day record is now 63-47 in 2022.

We went 0-1 betting the MoneyLine and our overall record is now 381-216 since the All-Star break.

Let’s take a closer look at tonight’s game between Colorado and Edmonton and see what Vegas is thinking.

*PAPA DUDES BEST BET OF THE DAY* Colorado at Edmonton: Colorado leads the series 2-0: These two teams meet again tonight for Game 3, after Colorado dominated the Oilers in Game 2. The Avalanche tightened up on the defensive side and held the Edmonton top-line to only 7 shots in their 4-0 shutout win. Expect more of the same tonight. Colorado is a balanced scoring machine and they are getting offensive production up and down their lineup. Nathan MacKinnon leads the way with 10 goals, but he has had plenty of help from a bunch of other guys. Pavel Francouz stepped in for the injured Darcy Kuemper in goal, and stopped all 24 shots he faced. Edmonton played much better defensively, except for a 2-minute span in the 2nd period, that saw the Avalanche score 3 times. Mike Smith bounced back in goal and stopped 36 of the 40 shots he faced and kept the Oilers in the game for a long time. But, Colorado held the vaunted Edmonton offense in check and that has to be a huge concern for the OIlers coming into this one. This is a game that Edmonton has to win if they are to have any chance to extend this matchup past 5 games. I hope they can get the win because I want to see a competitive, exciting series. But, the Avalanche seem to be the better team and it is very hard to pick against them. I’m sticking with Colorado. PAPA DUDES BEST BET: Bet the MoneyLine on Colorado -130
