Free NHL Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 4/12/22

There are 14 games on the schedule for tonight so that means it will be a crazy night of betting. It will take our best to survive 14 hockey games this time of the season, but we are going to give it a shot.

We cashed our Best Bet on Monday as Winnipeg defeated the Canadiens 4-2. That improved our Best Bet of the Day record to 32-25 since the All-Star Break.

We went a perfect 1-0 betting the MoneyLine because there was only one game.. Our overall record is now 243-140 since the All-Star break.

As mentioned there are 14 games on the schedule for tonight. Let’s make our predictions and hope we can come out on the plus side. One final word of warning. There is the very good chance of upsets in almost every game on the schedule.

*PAPA DUDES BEST BET* Edmonton at Minnesota: This is a good matchup between two playoff teams. The Wild are consistent and play very well at home, where they have only lost 7 games in regulation. Minnesota is currently tied with the Blues for 2nd place in the Central division, but they have played one less game that St.Louis. On the other hand, the Oilers are in 2nd place in the Pacific and lead the Kings by 4 points, Vegas by 6, and Vancouver by 10. So, there is a lot on the line in this one. *PAPA DUDES UPSET SPECIAL* Carolina at New York Rangers: The Hurricanes come into New York on a downward trend, having gone 6-9 in their last 15 games. They are tied in points with the Rangers at 100, and the winner will take over the top spot in the Metropolitan division. On the other hand, the Rangers have won 10 of their last 11 and are playing as well as anyone in the NHL. The law of averages says Carolina is due to break out of it and win this one. Vegas at Vancouver: This is another huge game for playoff ramifications in the crowded Pacific division. Both teams come into tonight sitting just outside of a playoff spot. Vegas is in the best shape as they have 84 points and are just 2 points behind Dallas for the 8th and final spot. Vancouver is much more desperate as they trail the Knights by 4 points and Dallas by 6. The Canucks have won three in a row including a 5-1 thumping against the Golden Knights in Vegas a week ago.
