Free NCAA College Basketball Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays For 2/14/22

It was somewhat of a mixed bag yesterday with only a smattering of games on Super Bowl Sunday. -[p0[=

The discouraging thing about yesterday’s betting was we are mired in a losing streak with our Best Bets. I had good feelings on Northern Iowa playing Loyola Chicago close and beating the spread. Then, they went out and lost by 25 or so. That lowered our Best Bet of the Day record to 33-23.

We went 5-2 betting the MoneyLine and our overall record now stands at 391-91 (81%) for 2022.

In the Dudes newest feature we went 2-1 betting the spread on games involving Top-25 teams, and we are 37-26 in a category where if you are on the plus side you are doing well.

There aren’t a lot of games on the schedule on this Valentine’s Day but I’m sure we can find something to bet on. Let’s get after it.

Papa Dudes Best Bet for College Basketball Today

Washington State 14-9 at Oregon 16-8 (-5) : The Ducks are coming off of an unexplainable loss to California on Saturday in a game that damaged their chances at a NCAA tournament bid. The usually bounce pretty well after tough losses and I hope that trend continues. Meanwhile, the Cougars were playing pretty well heading into the the late-week Pac-12 games, and lost to Arizona on Thursday night (which was expected), and then dropped a game against lowly Arizona State on Saturday. I’m going with the Ducks. PAPA DUDES PICK: Oregon -5

GAMES INVOLVING TOP-25 TEAMS:

Oklahoma State 12-12 at #8 Kansas 20-4 (-10.5): The Jayhawks are coming off a game with Oklahoma where they had to pull out all the stops to win 71-69 last Saturday. Tonight, they take on an Oklahoma State team that is similar to OU in many ways. There isn’t an easy game in the Big-12 and if you overlook any of these teams you can get beat. The Cowboys are a tough, physical, defensive-minded ball club, and if they can hit some shots they can keep this close. They also are coming off of a 81-58 thrashing of West Virginia in their last outing. Kansas will win but I’m not sure they cover. PAPA DUDES PICK: Kansas -10.5
