Free NBA Western Conference Playoffs Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 5/8/22

Yesterday we saw the Bucks and Golden State win their games and take 2-1 advantages in their respective series. And on this Mother’s Day, we will move on to a couple of very important Game 4’s. Both Philadelphia and Dallas will be looking to even up their 2nd round matchups. The games should be nail biters and without question will be hard to predict.

We cashed our Best Bet (barely) yesterday, as the Bucks blew a big lead and held on for a 103-101 win over the fast closing Celtics. The spread was 1.5-pts. so we got lucky. Our Best Bet of the Day record is now 92-47 in 2022.

We went 2-0 betting the MoneyLine and our overall record stands at 472-230 since Jan.1st.

Let’s look at the Phoenix-Dallas game today and see if we can close out what has been a great week of betting these crazy NBA games.

Phoenix (-2) at Dallas: Phoenix leads the series 2-1: The Mavericks turned up the defensive pressure which had been missing in the first two games in Phoenix. They forced the Suns into 17 turnovers, including 7 by Chris Paul, and held them to a series low of 94 points. Phoenix shot well from behind the arc and that kept them somewhat in the game. But, they were never able to get control of the fast-paced tempo that makes them so dangerous. That will be a key in this afternoon. The Stars got the usual great game from Luka Doncic who had 26 points, 13 rebounds, and 9 assists. And, unlike the first two games, he got plenty of help from his teammates, especially Jalen Brunson who poured in 26 points to compliment Luka. Dallas wasn’t particularly great on offense and shot only 33% from behind the arc and still won comfortably. It’s not a stretch to see Phoenix come out and play a much better game today. But, I have liked Dallas all year and I’m backing them to get the job done today and even up the series. PAPA DUDES PICK: Dallas +2
