Free NBA Western Conference Playoffs Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 4/24/22

Last night was a tough night for us and our NBA wagers. We were on the wrong side of all four games, that went down to the wire, and could have gone my way just as easily. We have four games on the schedule for today as well; 2 in the East and 2 in West.

We lost our 2 Best Bets yesterday as the 76ers failed to close out the Toronto series and Memphis lost to a stubborn bunch of Timberwolves. Our Best Bet of the Day record now stands at 83-40 in 2022.

We went 0-4 betting the MoneyLine lowering the overall record to 451-226 since Jan.1st.

So, after that dismal performance, I sincerely apologize to anyone who took my suggestions yesterday. Let’s check out the two Eastern conference games for tonight, and see if we can get lucky in our betting for today.

*PAPA DUDES BEST BET* Phoenix (-2.5) at New Orleans: Phoenix leads the series 2-1: This series has turned out to be a dogfight for the heavily favored Suns. The injury to Devin Booker certainly hasn’t helped the cause either. The Suns managed to pull out game 3 behind Chris Paul who scored 19 of his 28 points in the 4th quarter to lead them to a win. Deandre Ayton was a huge factor chipping in 28 points and 17 rebounds, and others stepped in to fill the void left by Booker’s absence. Meanwhile, the Pelicans continue to show that they are an up and coming team for next year. They have gone toe-to-toe with one of the best teams in the NBA through the first 3 games and haven’t blinked. Brandon Ingram (34 pts.) and C.J. McCollum (30 pts.) have been sensational. Despite all of their good play, I just can’t pick against the Suns when the line is this small. . PAPA DUDES BEST BET: Phoenix -2.5

Golden State (-4) at Denver: Golden State leads the series 3-0: The good news for Denver is the fact that they put up a fight in game 3. The bad news is they lost for the third straight game. Stephen Curry, Jordan Poole, and Klay Thompson combined for 80 points to offset an outstanding performance by Denver’s Nikola Jocic who finished with 37 points and 18 rebounds. The Warriors seem to be on a different level after missing the playoffs the last two seasons. I look for the Nuggets to bring the same kind of effort tonight, and I give them a chance to send the series back to Golden State for game 5. But, my money will be on the Warriors to close the door and end the series today. PAPA DUDES PICK: Warriors -4
