Free NBA Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 4/1/22

There were only 5 games on the schedule last night in the NBA, so there wasn’t much to bet. We had an average night as we closed out the month of March and head closer to the NBA playoffs.

We cashed the Best Bet last night as the Bulls finished off a big comeback, and beat the Clippers 135-130 in overtime, to cover the 3-point spread. That looked like a lost bet most of the night before turning into a winner. That improved our Best Bet of the Day record to 63-31 since Jan. 1st.

Because the unreliable 76ers can’t beat the lowly Pistons, we went 3-2 betting the MoneyLine, and our overall record now stands at 376-191 for 2022.

Cleveland continues to piss us off as they lost to the Hawks messing up our Upset Special as well as our Parlay which was the only negative of the night.

We are back to a full schedule tonight as there are 10 games to try and figure out. Let’s see what Vegas has for us.

Papa Dudes Best Bets for the NBA Today

Minnesota 43-34 at Denver 46-31 (-3.5): I’m not high on either one of these teams as they both struggle on the defensive side of the ball. The T-Wolves were playing very well a couple of weeks ago, but they have really cooled off since then. Their position is pretty much locked up as a #7 seed in the upcoming playoffs, and I don’t see much motivation in that regard. Meanwhile, the Nuggets have a shot at maybe getting as high as #3, if they keep winning. I like the Nuggets at home and the spread is certainly doable. PAPA DUDES BEST BET: Denver -3.5

*PAPA DUDES UPSET SPECIAL* Phoenix 62-14 (-7.5) at Memphis 54-23: This is the game of the night in the NBA, as the Suns come into Memphis to take on the Grizzlies. Memphis is banged up and will be be without their superstar, Ja Marant, and several others are hurting. Still, they are a tough group to beat and 7.5 points is a bunch to cover. I think the Suns will win but I’m going with Memphis to keep it close. PAPA DUDES PICK: Memphis +7.5
