Free NBA Finals Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 6/2/22

The NBA finals begin tonight in San Francisco between the Celtics and the Warriors. This should be a competitive series between the better defensive team, Boston, and the better shooting team, Golden State. The Warriors are an undefeated 9-0 at home and they will be looking to get off on the right track in Game 1 tonight.

We missed our Best Bet last Sunday as we picked Miami to beat the Celtics. Our Best Bet of the Day record now stands at 102-57 in 2022.

We went 0-1 betting the MoneyLine and our overall record stands at 486-241 since Jan.1st.

Let’s look at what Vegas thinks about Game 1 in the Boston-Golden State matchup for tonight.

*PAPA DUDES BEST BET OF THE DAY* Boston at Golden State (3.5): The Boston Celtics travel to san francisco for Game 1 of the NBA Finals. They are coming off two grueling 7 game series with the Bucks and the Heat and are battle tested as they enter this matchup with a well-rested Golden State team. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown have played as expected and they have received solid performances from Marcus Smart and Al Horford as well. Grant Williams, Derrick White, and Robert Williams III, have been effective off the bench. The Celtics are a proven, resilient team and while they aren’t the prettiest of teams, they are a definite threat to derail the Warriors. Golden State eliminated Dallas in 5 games in the Western Conference Finals and haven’t played in 7 days, so they are rested and healthy. They have offensive weapons all over the floor and their outside shooting is lethal when they are at their best. Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Jordan Poole, and Andrew Wiggins are all capable of getting 30 points on any given night. They are shooting 49% as a team and they are a challenge for anyone to defend. The Celtics have shown they are a very tenacious defensive team and if the Warriors are off from the perimeter they can be taken down. Boston is going to have to win at least one game in California and this one might be their best shot. But, I can’t pick against Golden State at home with a spread as small as this one. PAPA DUDES BEST BET: Golden State -3.5
