Free NBA Eastern Conference Playoffs Picks, Best Bets and Parlays for 5/6/22

The NBA Playoffs are back in action after a night off for all everyone on Thursday. For some strange reason, the teams that played on Wednesday night are back at it again today and the teams that played on Tuesday are off until Saturday. I would like somebody to explain that one to me. Anyway, we shall have to wait another day to see Ja Marant get back into action. Meanwhile, these two games are very difficult to pick tonight.

On Wednesday night, we cashed both of our Best Bets as both the Heat and the Suns were winners and covered the spread. That raised our Best Bet of the Day record to 91-46 in 2022.

We correctly predicted both games and went 2-0 betting the MoneyLine and our overall record stands at 469-229 since Jan.1st.

We also cashed the Parlay turning a $10 wager into a Payout of $68.36.

Let’s look at the Philadelphia-Miami game tonight and see what Vegas thinks about this one.

Miami (-3) at Philadelphia: Miami leads the series 2-0: The Heat have fully taken advantage of the injury to Philadelphia superstar Joel Embiid and have a commanding 2-0 lead in the series. At this point, we don’t know the status of Embiid for Game 3, and probably won’t until shortly before tipoff. He still hasn’t passed concussion protocol and until he does he will be listed as out. It is very difficult to evaluate this game, not knowing whether he is going to play or not. Miami has been dominant in the first two games, but how much of that was because Embiid wasn’t on the floor. I’m going to make my bet very simple. I’m holding out my wager till I get some definite information about Embiid. PAPA DUDES PICK: If he plays, I’m taking Philly +3, if he is out I’ll take Miami -3.
