  • TEAMS ON THE BUBBLE:
  • Miami- 20-9: They have two games left, both on the road at Syracuse and Boston College. Those are must wins and would give them a conference record of 14-6. Pretty solid credentials.
  • BYU- 21-9: They have the WCC Tournament left and if they could get to the Finals they might have a shot.
  • San Francisco-23-8: Both the Dons and the Cougars split their two regular season meetings. Probably have to get to the Tournament Finals to have a chance.
  • Creighton-19-9: The Bluejays have two home games left against UConn and Seton Hall and two wins would give them a 13-6 record in the Big East. I would think they would get in.
  • SMU- 20-7: The Mustangs chances took a hit on Sunday when Houston kicked them around. A lot of things have to bounce before they make it.
  • San Diego State- 18-7: This is another team with a chance to play their way in. They have a game with Wyoming tonight and close the season with Fresno State and Nevada. Three wins would give them 21 and a 13-4 record in a tough league
  • Florida- 18-11: The Gators have some good wins and they play in a power conference. They finish at Vanderbilt, and at home against Kentucky. If they beat the Commodores and upset Kentucky, I think they are in, if things break right for them.
  • Memphis- 17-9: They close the regular season at South Florida and at home against conference powerhouse Houston. They need to beat the Cougars and get to the finals of the AAC tournament.
  • Indiana- 18-10: The Hoosiers have Rutgers at home and Purdue on the road. They really need both games.
  • Oregon- 18-1: Not out yet, but on life support. Have to beat both Washington schools this weekend or it’s curtains for the Ducks.
  • VCU- 20-7: Personally, I think they should be in and they still have a chance with two wins this weekend and a good A-10 tournament.
