Gulfstream Park March 11, 2023

Race 9: Allowance Optional Claiming

#9 Far Bridge goes for tow in a row in this spot after an impressive debut win over this track in his last start. The second place horse came back to dominate in his next start. #3 Harry Time makes his second start in the United States after running well at this level last time out. He should move forward off of that effort.

Race 10: Allowance Optional Claiming

#3 Starship Renegade won a similar race to this one two starts back, while last time out he was a solid second against allowance runners. #6 King Cab was third behind our top choice in his last start. This is his second straight race on the dirt, which should lead to some improvement.

Race 11: Captiva Island Stakes

#4 Train to Artemus goes for her fourth straight victory today after three straight solid efforts at this distance. Last time out she was able defeat a similar field of stakes runners at Tampa Bay Downs. #3 Last Leaf will move over to the turf today after some solid races on the dirt. Her pervious turf races have been solid as well.

Race 12: Claiming

#5 Raise the Rent will try the synthetic surface in this spot, while also dropping down in class after back to back poor races. #7 Celebratory also gets some class relief in this spot, which looks to be needed after back to back poor attempts at Woodbine.
