Race 7: Allowance Optional Claiming

#1 Kupuna has looked sharp in back to back allowance wins at Oaklawn Park and Fair Grounds. He should be tough once again today #6 Ain’t Life Grand returns today from a layoff; however, he might be the class of the field. If he is ready to fire, he will be tough to hold off down he lane.

Race 8: Whitmore Stakes (G3)

#2 Tejano Twist has looked like a beast in three of his last our starts, with his only loss in those efforts coming against Gunite. #9 Cogburn was successful last time out when returning from a long layoff. He should move forward off of that effort in this contest.

Race 9: Essex Handicap (G3)

#10 Last Samurai goes for two in a two today after a sharp victory last time out in the Razorback Handicap (G3). This field might now be as tough as the last one he defeated. #9 Keystone Field should bounce back from a poor effort last time out, while you get a much better price on him this time around.

Race 10: Maiden Special Weight

#3 Kokomo Starlet put up a poor effort last time out; however, her previous two efforts are good enough to win in this spot. #8 Gold Strategy has run third at this level in three straight starts. This field today looks a little weaker than this group today.
