Rocket Picks 🚀: Gulfstream Park and Fair Grounds for December 29, 2022

Race 6: Claiming

We went four deep in this spot to kick off the late pick 4, which looks like it could be tricky. #1 Thenorthremembers is a solid horse that deserves to be the favorite; however, there are several others in this spot that can knock him off.

Race 7: Allowance Optional Claiming

We will look to single #3 Scarlet Stripe in all sequences today. She gets a cut back to 6-furlongs in this spot, which should be to her liking, while this race looks a bit easier than what she has been facing. Her best effort looks to be faster than anyone else in this race, so we will roll the dice with her.

Race 8: Allowance Optional Claiming

This might be the most wide-open race on the card, which has us going four deep. We like the #1 Lady Day and the #2 Beechnut Trophy as our top two horses; however, we felt #4 My Candy Girl and #10 Traffic Song has big chances in this race at solid prices.

Race 9: Claiming

This one seems to be a bit more straight forward than race 8; however, we still ended up going four deep in this spot to round out the sequence. We through three of the shorter prices on the ticket, while also adding in some value with #7 Kestenna at 8-1. This sequence has some solid potential if we can get a couple of prices home with our single.
