Saratoga August 20, 2022

Race 8: Lake Placid Stakes (G2)

#1 With The Moonlight will wheel back on two weeks rest looking to take home back to back graded stakes victories at Saratoga. #3 Eminent Victor has run well in two starts this year and looms a danger to the favorite. Brown has four entered in this spot.

Race 9: Smart N Fancy Stakes

#3 Robin Sparkles looks to make it two in a row after an impressive win over this track last time out in a similar race. She has always been a tough horse to beat on this circuit. #1 Change of Control goes for two in a row after a sharp stakes win at Colonial in her last start.

Race 10: Alabama Stakes (G1)

#4 Nest is the best 3 year old filly in the country and showed it last time out with a dominant victory. If she shows up with that effort again it will be lights out for the rest of this group. #7 Secret Oath has beaten Nest in the past but was no match for her last time out.

Race 11: Claiming

#4 Wicked Fast drops down to the claiming level today after a poor recent start against allowance runners over this track. His previous races are good enough to win this one, though. #6 Saratoga Flash also will be taking a drop down in class after back to back poor efforts against tougher runners.
