Race 7: Allowance Optional Claiming

We will single #1 Aggregation in the first leg of this Pick 3 for Chad Brown. This will be his first race off of a long layoff; however, Brown is solid with these kinds of horses off of the bench. The last time this horse was at Belmont he rolled to an easy victory, while today should be more of the same, with him looking best at the one-mile distance.

Race 8: Starter Allowance

#6 Timbuktu runs for Dutrow for the first time today, who won his first race back with ease. This horse has some solid races in his set of past performances. #1 My Seas Cottage has been consistent in his last three starts, including back to back third place efforts at this class level at Gulfstream Park. We will also use #8 Royal Spirt on the ticket.

Race 9: Maiden Claiming

#6 Variable Cost debuts in this spot for Chad Brown today, who is usually pretty good with first time starters on the turf. #7 Pioneering Spirit gets back to the turf for this race after several poor efforts over the dirt. The turf and drop in class should help today. We will also use #5 East Side on the ticket.
