Race 8: Allowance

#7 Shadow Dragon gets major class relief in this spot after trying the Kentucky Derby trail in his last three starts. #1 Safalow’s Mission is a consistent runner at this level for a trainer who is on fire right now on this circuit. These two seem to stand out over the rest.

Race 9: Pennine Ridge Stakes (G2)

#4 Silver Knott comes back to the United States today after nearly winning the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf (G1) in his last start in this country. #6 Kalik seems to be improving with each start, while he looks to have a pace advantage in this spot. We will also use #8 Far Bridge on the ticket.

Race 10: Maiden Claiming

#2 Barry the Builder runs second off of the layoff today, which should lead to an improved effort. His best race is good enough to win in this spot. #3 War Prince was close at this level last time out and should improve in his second straight start over the turf.
