Rocket Picks 🚀: Churchill Downs and Aqueduct for April 29, 2023

Let’s get another big Saturday of racing kicked off today! We are changing things up with the Rockets, focusing more on Pick 3 and Pick 5 plays, and not Pick 4’s. With that being said, this article will now focus on Pick 3’s with larger base wagers. Today, we will look at the middle Pick 3 from Aqueduct. Race 3: Claiming

#7 Jet Set Juliet gets class relief in this spot today, while also having some experience running over the dirt. #10 Quick Power Nap returns from a layoff in this spot, and should handle the dirt decently. We will also use #11 Jolly Miss Jill and #12 Our Rosie Diamonds on our ticket

Race 4: Maiden Special Weight

#6 Angelique is set to debut today for Todd Pletcher after a solid work pattern leading up to the race. This is a spot where a first time starter can win. With the scratches in the other legs, she becomes the single, so hopefully she is ready to fire for this debut race.

Race 5: Claiming

#1 Healing is one of the better dirt horses in this race that had been taken off the turf. #6 Two Thirty Five has the best timeform number on the dirt, so should benefit from the race being taken off the turf. We will also use #11 Corkman on our ticket
