Rocket Picks 🚀: Belmont Park, Churchill Downs, and Gulfstream Park for July 1, 2022

Let’s kick off another great Friday of racing! For the free pick 4, we will head to Belmont Park for the Late Pick 4 on the card. Race 6: Maiden Special Weight

#4 Hoodooland makes her second start today after a solid showing on debut, where she finished second. If she moves forward today, she should be tough, which most horses do run better second time out for Shug. #3 Empire Hope debuts in this spot for Chad Brown, who has done well lately with first time starters.

Race 7: Allowance

#3 Saint Selby has been tough to beat when running on the dirt, while he comes into this race off of a nice gate to wire win over allowance foes over this track. #2 Unikee drops back down to allowance company today after struggling last time out in the Sir Barton Stakes at Pimlico.

Race 8: Allowance Optional Claiming

#3 Kinenos runs second off of the layoff today after a decent fourth place showing last time out against similar horses. He should be ready for a solid effort in this spot. #4 Kuramata can win in this spot if the pace sets up for him. He can always be counted on for a solid closing kick.

Race 9: Claiming

#6 Fast N Fearious drops back down to the claiming ranks today, which is where he won two starts back. Look for him to set the pace and be tough to catch in this spot. #11 Standup also will drop out of the allowance ranks and down to claiming company after two lack luster efforts.
